Artistic Floral proudly serves the Aurora, Lawrenceburg, Hidden Valley Lake, Rising Sun, Dillsboro and Sunman areas. We are committed to offering only the finest floral arrangements and gifts, backed by service that is friendly and prompt. Because all of our customers are important, our professional staff is dedicated to making your experience a pleasant one. That is why we always go the extra mile to make your floral gift perfect.

 

Artistic Floral is managed by Steve and Emily Rose of Aurora. Emily grew up in the Aurora area and attended South Dearborn High School and St John Lutheran School. Steve is from Edgewood, Kentucky. They met while attending Northern Kentucky University. They live and raise their son, Jack in the Edgewood area, but enjoy running the store in Aurora to stay close to family and friends still living in Dearborn County.

Emily is a member of the local BRG (Business Referral Group) of Dearborn County and participates in many local programs to educate the community on the art of floral design. She has volunteered her time and talent in teaching hands on classes for South Dearborn High School, The Aurora Public Library and the Dearborn County Master Gardeners Association. She along with a talented staff, including her Mother, Judy Cox, participate in the South Eastern Indiana Art Guild’s Annual Spring Show and Floral Exhibition, where they have taken home several ribbons. She also is a proud supporter of the Indiana Historic Society, donating floral arrangements to the Hillforest Board to boost their fundraising efforts.

The Rose family plans to continue their support of the area by providing a locally owned business in the historic district of Aurora, offering quality products and creating jobs in the Dearborn County community for years to come.

Our shop is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday and from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.

We are closed on Sundays.

To help assure on-time delivery during the busy holiday season, place your order at least 1 day prior to the following major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Valentine's Day, Easter, Administrative Professionals Week, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day and Labor Day.

Steve Rose

Steve is the store’s weekend warrior as he still holds a full time job in sales in the Sharonville, Ohio area. He is our go to man on Saturday for deliveries, store maintenance, wedding set up and he can even put together a cute birthday arrangement on demand. His favorite job however is confusing the customers by answering the phone in his best pirate voice “Arrrtistic floral, how can I help you!” What a practical joker…

Emily Rose

Emily loves flowers—this is her calling. She holds a public relations and journalism degree from Northern Kentucky University which has helped her bring Artistic Floral into a fresh face for Aurora patrons. She is a talented floral designer specializing in unique ways to present flowers. Whether it is a glorious vase arrangement or creative work, like birthday cakes made entirely of flowers, she loves giving her customers something they can’t get anywhere else.

Judy Cox Judy is Emily’s mother and has worked in the downtown Aurora area for over 30 years. She was thrilled when Steve and Emily decided to buy the store and run it just a few doors down from her current full time job at Nationwide Insurance. Judy is a talented floral designer with strong emphasis in sympathy work. She loves working with customers and helping people find that perfect floral gift for their someone special.

Betty Meyer

Betty has worked for Artistic Floral for over 30 years. Known by most as “Betty Rose,” even though she is not related to the owners; she is none the less considered family. She loves delivering smiles to all of our customers, and can do so with her eyes practically closed after all these years. Betty and her Husband Gary grew up and have raised their two sons, Paul and Steve in the Aurora area.

Robbie King Robbie is a very talented floral designer with over 25 years of design experience. She can do it all…as long as her fingers don’t hurt. We have recently discovered that Robbie is allergic to some of our most beautiful flowers so if you stop by and she is pasted with band-aids—go easy on her.

Emily Pyles

Emily is a graduate of South Dearborn High School and currently attends Ivy Tech Community College in Lawrenceburg. She keeps the crew in line and smiling with her can do attitude and love for teasing Judy of course.

Mia Placke

Mia is a graduate of South Dearborn High School and currently attends Ball State University. She has worked for Artistic Floral for three years and loves coming back for summers and the holidays to help out.

A local delivery fee of $7.00 will be added to each order, for each address. (For deliveries outside our local delivery area, this fee may vary.)

U.S. orders must be received before 12:00 noon in the recipient's time zone to assure same-day delivery. Orders received after that time will be delivered the following day.

We will do our best to accommodate deliveries at specific times of day, but we cannot guarantee it.

We are unable to make deliveries on Sundays. Deliveries requested on this day will be delivered the following business day.

Delivery of orders to rural route addresses or cemeteries cannot be guaranteed.

We will be happy to accept your international orders if you call our shop directly. We are unable to accept international orders over the Internet.

Occasionally, substitutions may be necessary to create your bouquet due to the availability of certain flowers in various parts of the country. Care is taken to maintain the style, theme and color scheme of the arrangement, using flowers of equal value. Additionally, the substitution of certain keepsake items may be necessary due to increased demand, especially during major holidays. In single-flower arrangements, such as an all rose bouquet, or orchids, we will make every attempt to match the flower type, but may substitute with another color.
